ADARA Takes SD-WAN Offering to Cloud

ADARA Networks unveiled a cloud version of its software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) solution, promising to reduce network latency and improve performance via real-time performance monitoring and programmability.

The software-defined networking (SDN) specialist identifies network latency as the “universal problem” that can affect bottom-line performance, such as an enterprise losing millions of dollars in lost sales. To address the latency problem, the company adds intent-based networking (IBN) into the SDN mix, a technology approach that research firm Gartner Inc. has called “the next big thing on the networking horizon.”
