Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has launched its Tokyo Region to support some of the countryās biggest companies. Oracle said the new cloud region addresses the needs for high performance, security, resiliency and local data residency that Japanese organisations require to āincrease cloud adoption with confidenceā.
Andrew Reichman, Oracle director of product management, said of the opening: āJapan is one of the counties in which weāve built trust over years of adoption by the biggest domestic organisations. To further support customers there, weāve opened an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure data centre region in Tokyo, which is now ready for customer use.ā
